Question:  Can I backup the „Public Folder“ PST file if the Public ShareFolder Server is running?

In Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 you can get the error message: "To much searchfolders"

Solution: We wrote a small freeware tool for Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 that "delete" the wrong entries of an "Extended search" in Outlook 2003 or 2007.

We do not know why, but we made the experience that Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 do not delete /refresh the entries of "Extended search" in an Outlook PST file.

With the freeware  program "Public FixSearchFolders" the wrong entries will be deleted.

The program can be started directly after the download. There is no "setup" necessary.

After you opened the program,you must select an Outlook store like "Personal Folder" and on the right site, you will see entries liek "searchfolder1; searchfolder2 etc.".

Delete all entreis with a number. Do not delete any entries without a number.
