With Outlook 2003 a function was introduced to display several calendars side by side. Thereby displaying the selection of dates of several co-workers can be arranged significantly clearer.
The selection of the desired appointment calendars is met as follows without Public Calendar Choice:
1. Click on the icon "Calendar" in the navigation pane or select the entry "Go" - "Calendar" at the main menu.
2. Mark the appropriate calendar in the navigation pane.
3. Repeat step 2 for each further calendar.
After the selections are made, Outlook keeps this setting during run time. If Outlook is terminated, the selection is discarded. It must be configured again after each restart using the steps described above.
With Outlook 2007 the calendar selection is kept even with a restart.
Public Calendar Choice simplifies the process for users of Outlook 2003 in addition, substantially in Outlook 2007.
The desired choice
is uniquely saved:
...and can now be restored with only one click at any
time:
Outlook is now customized and available at any time and does not need to be "configured" at the beginning of each workday. Also the selection for certain tasks can be changed and reset simply to default.
